About the Pension and Insurance Tech Family
Our tech family recently moved all servers to Azure, and we work with open standards and modern best practices. We are following the agile best practices where we take responsibility of the whole software development chain from inception, design, implementation, testing, deployment and operation.
To be able to provide the best, secure and user-friendly experience possible we are constantly innovating and are not afraid of experimenting with new technology. To make life easy for our engineers we constantly work on simplifying development and deployment processes. We strongly believe in automation, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
Who are you and what is your mission as a DevOps Engineer in our team!
You are a pragmatic DevOps engineer who believes in the DevOps model. You love solving complex problems and want to automate as much as possible. You have an itch to fix problems when you find it, and you get excited by seeing what you built being used in production by millions of users.
Learning new technologies and standards is second nature to you. You need to be the kind of person who questions the status quo and wants to be on the barricades because that's where the fun happens.
Responsibilities
- You will be automating deployments, developing CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure
- Suggest best practices and reference implementations to automate and optimize our Software development
- Invent new ways of interacting with the bank in a secure and frictionless way
- Have an impact on shaping the future of banking through technology!
Your background and qualifications
- Strong DevOps and Operations Engineer background
- Experience with building automated CI/CD pipelines
- Know the security standards SSL, TLS, Certificate Chain etc.
- Understand Infrastructure-as-Code
- Have a 3-5 years’ experience of working with highly available business critical solutions
- Acquainted with Azure
- Programming experience with C# and .net. Experience with Python is a plus
- You are able to communicate well in both English and Norwegian – verbally and in writing.
