Are you our new Full-stack Developer?
The development department creates our tooling for managing Basefarm infrastructure. The tools we create are critical to the success of Basefarm, so there is a large focus on security and quality. The department is small and serves a rapidly changing market, so we are agile, self-organized, and cross-functional, and we continuously deliver changes to production.
As a developer in Basefarm you are expected to organize yourself and clearly communicate and cooperate with your colleagues across departments. You want to stay up-to-date in your field of expertise, and you are able to balance business needs and technology, to build solutions that provide real value. You will predominantly work from the Basefarm offices in Oslo, but infrequent traveling might be required.
We are looking for someone with:
· Experience with developing web applications on the JVM.
· Relevant higher education. Relevant experience can compensate.
· A collaborative mindset, we work together to achieve our goals.
· Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
· The opportunity to attain a Norwegian security approval.
It is advantageous (but not essential) if you have experience in Typescript/React, Scala, and/or Postgres/SQL.
