About the role

reMarkable has two main web applications. At we showcase our products for the world, seen by millions of people around the globe and currently our biggest sales channel by far. On our users can manage their account, devices, integrations and subscriptions. The team responsible for these sites scale quickly, and now we are looking for a Team Lead to help us take these applications to the next level, both in terms of stunning visuals and a greater user experience - and we hope that’s you!

As a Team Lead at reMarkable you will be responsible for our growth and the deliverables from one of our brilliant development teams. This gives you the opportunity to collaborate with leaders across units and tribes at reMarkable.

Further tasks and responsibilities:

  • Lead the team in their daily work, ensure focus on the most important tasks and enable successful deliveries.
  • Ensure high team productivity and motivation through support and use of the right tools and processes.
  • Together with the Product Owners ensure that the team understands the application roadmap and that backlog is prioritized, and in line with reMarkables overall ambitions.
  • Facilitating agile activities with the team.
  • Manage risk and unexpected events in ongoing work.
  • Continuously work to improve the way we work as an organization.
  • Ensure that the team gets the most out of each team member's full potential.

Who are you?

You have experience from working with software development teams, and experience with project or team management. You should have good knowledge of, and experience with, agile methodologies and have completed higher education (Bachelor degree) in computer science (or similar).

As a person you are structured and have strong interpersonal skills & communicative skills. Additionally, you’re not afraid to speak up and challenge the way things are done. You also need to be a proficient English speaker, as English is our working language.

It is also an advantage if you have...

.. some relevant certifications in agile methodology.

.. experience working with distributed teams.

.. been part of a larger agile environment with plenty of cross functional teams or been a part of the growth to become this.
