Who are you?
You are a person who loves technology and the opportunity to use it to enhance the lives of our customers. You have 7+ years of experience as a front-end developer and you are ready to take the step up into a techlead role with responsibility for a team. You are curious about new technology, and passionate about creating the best possible user experience. You like solving problems, and you have the drive to succeed. And you should also be a nice person who enjoys contributing to our already stellar work environment at our lovely offices in Tønsberg.
What will you do?
You will take the reins of our front-end development team, and report directly to the CTO
Hire and develop team members
Translate design to code and work with our UI/UX team to find the best solutions for our app and webfront, and integrate this with our backend
Develop new end-user functionality in Izy Portal - our web backend solution for power users
Develop components and reusable code
Optimize our web UI for maximum speed and user friendliness
Validate user inputs that goes into our backend
Work with tech leadership, product, UX/UI and backend teams to achieve seamless development
Skills you have
Broad experience in Web Markup such as HTML5 og CSS3
Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript og jQuery
Experience working with Angular, React or similar over a longer period
Experience with use of asynchronous requests, partially updating pages using AJAX
Video and photo editing tools skills
Experience with browser compatibility challenges and workarounds
Good experience with using Git or a similar VS
Leadership skills
Education / work experience
- 7+ years of work experience in the field, preferably also as a leader
- Preferably a bachelors or higher degree within frontend, IT, computer science or similar (not a hard )
References or examples of code you have written is a major plus
