What will your day look like?

Together with the team, your main responsibility will be to develop new features for our new online bank. The team is responsible for the full product, from concept to design to implementation, testing and production in all parts of the stack. You will be responsible for developing new features and delivering quality code and a great customer experience, while maintaining the rock-solid security and quality required for a banking solution. This requires that you work closely with our designers and product managers and communicate your thoughts clearly to the team. Our focus on stability means that you must write testable code that can adapt to change.

What kind of developer are we looking for?

We are looking for a dedicated developer who really cares about doing a great job and who is passionate about technology. You enjoy technical discussions, you communicate clearly, and you are eager to both gain and share your knowledge and experience with your team members. Equally important is your ability to be a good team player, while at the same time being able to work independently and proactively in order to drive projects forward. In order to succeed in this role, you need to be comfortable in a high paced environment, flexible and able to adapt to changes and shifting priorities. Finally, we want you to bring new ideas into our teams, and we want you to both inspire and be inspired!

Your knowledge and skills:

You are a skilled developer with some years’ experience and professional knowledge of React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. These are our minimum requirements, but we would be very excited if you also have experience with universal design, Gatsby.js or CI/CD pipelines. It is a big advantage if you can add competence with AWS, Jenkins and a DevOps way of thinking, and even better if you have worked with web security. You are fluent in English, both written and verbal, Norwegian is a plus. We think that you have completed relevant higher education, but we also acknowledge that relevant experience may make up for this.
