As a developer in DNB Corporate Banking you will work in teams of 8 to 12 people. You will be a part of a fixed team responsible for specific digital channels (web, mobile). Your work will relate to maintaining existing solutions, but more important: you will play an important role in building world class user experiences in our new digital channels for corporate users. You will be able to work with different technologies, and to build complex IT applications that are used on a daily basis by DNB’s 200.000 corporate customers.
What will your day look like?
As a developer, you will be a part of a trust-based inhouse team located in the city center of Bergen. The team is responsible for a certain part of the product, from concept to design to implementation in all parts of the stack.
This is what you’ll be doing:
• Work with developing the Puls client application using native technologies like Kotlin, Android Studio, Gradle/Maven, etc.
• Work closely together with our developers, testers, infrastructure, and product team
• Doing other related work when necessary, helping with the iOS version if needed
• Eating ice cream on sunny days
What kind of knowledge and personal skills are we looking for?
We envisage that you have a minimum of two years’ experience with app development, and that you have experience or knowledge about Mobile UI frameworks and related languages, tools, and technologies. You are skilled with Git and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery, experienced with Bitbucket, microservice architecture, or want to learn about it. Knowledge of UI security issues and best practices to prevent vulnerabilities and understanding of APIs.
You have several of the following:
• Experience with native application development for the Android platform using Kotlin
• Knowledge about communication with REST-ful APIs
• Knowledge about using GIT and Gitflow
• Experience with Kanban, Scrum or other agile working methods
• Experience with native iOS development is a plus but not required
As a person you are a team player. You have excellent communication skills in Norwegian or English, both verbal and written. You are eager to learn and want to grow both as a developer and as a person. Knowledge sharing is important to us, so we are looking for you who would like to share the knowledge you have gained in addition to acquiring new knowledge.
