The software engineer will be part of implementing new and ground-breaking technology for VOCA and the daughter company Optilift. The Optilift technology is targeting to be the de-facto standard to enable truly autonomous marine lifting operations, and we recently did the first public showing of the Optilift Autonomous Crane Control System:
What is our core competency?
We use computer vision and artificial intelligence to perform automated and non-contact object identification, tracking and motion estimation, and use this to automate processes and operations that are today manual and time-consuming.
How do we work?
At VOCA we have a fast-paced development environment utilizing KANBAN project management and rapid software releases. The main technologies used are C++ and C#, and our core vision- and AI algorithms implemented in-house by our experienced development team. Our projects are executed using a mix of hardware- and software platforms, including Windows, Linux, edge computing and cloud systems, touching upon most aspects of software- and technology development.
Work tasks for this position will include
- Planning of software tasks
- Architecture and software design
- Software development (C#, C++, Windows and Linux)
- Implementation of unit tests and execution of manual tests
- Documentation of technical implementations
Both newly graduated and experienced developers are invited to apply. Master degree is requested, but experience and competence may compensate for lack of the degree.
